Although Thuthuzela centre, found in various health institutions attempts a comprehensive approach involving relevant state organs such as the police it still falls short.Ethekwini District graph on GBV shows that of the 1000 thousand women who suffer abuse quarterly, children under 12,years, old account for between 30 to 40%. Sadly, Kwazulu/Natal is still the most burdend province with the HIV pedemic. The number of persons living with HIV has increased from already higher 7.2million to 7.8 million.Her Majesty Ndlovukazi Magatsheni,Mayor Zandile Gumede, Councillors Religious representatives, Health organisations, Civil society and various members of the community commemorated.
