Thembinkosi Ngcobo, head of Parks Recreation and Culture declared the Durban North Beach salt water pool which had seen closure since 3 years back opened. In a second session of the Fun walk and Aerobics event, before members of the government, political representatives/affiliates, partners, the PRC staff, members of the public and others Ngcob, apologised for the dormancy of the pool and assured the public of ongoing accessibility. However, he warned of imminent, periodic but temporary closures set to afford the conducting of necessary tests. Mdumiseni Ntuli, provincial secretary of the ANC applauded the cluster for a job well done and affirmed the party's commitment to further create programmes and facilities that drive health and wellness.
