The IFP activates National Voter registration campaigns.

Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) supporters came in their numbers to listen to veteran founder Dr Mangosuthu Buthelezi officially launch the party’s voter registration campaign just days post the ANC Manifesto launch in Durban a few days ago.

With command eloquence and conviction, Dr Buthelezi sends a checklist for active citizenry who is a participant in their democracy.

He said if you want to be a part of the conversation, your voice to be heard and dictate your future register to vote.

He cautioned politicians planning to use social media to solicit votes, he emphasised the importance for IEC regulation adherence ahead the May 2019 national elections whose date is yet to be announced.

The greater mandate of his speech was concerned with encouraging the masses to register to vote. He expressed sadness in recent data showing less youth participation in the voting process.

He said there are only 10 days remaining with the last voter registration week of January 26 to 27 at the doorstep.
